Are you an animal lover? If so, you can make extra money with Rover by providing pet care in your area. Services are available for both dogs and cats. Pet sitters control their own schedules and determine their own pricing. Sitters also choose the combination of pet services they want to provide and can specify the size, age, and other preferences of the animals they will accept.
Sitters can make money by boarding (keeping a pet overnight), house sitting, making drop in visits, doing doggy daycare, and dog walking. Payments are available 2 days after a service is performed.
One disadvantage of this program is their high level of selectivity. Rover accepts under 20% of those who apply for pet sitter positions. Pet sitters are subject to a background check and must be approved by a Rover team of specialists.
