Father's Day Gift Ideas

Father’s Day is Sunday, June 18, 2017. It’s a day to honor dads and all they do for us. Are you planning on giving your dad a gift? Here are some ideas:

Ugly Tie: Uh, no. Scratch this one off the list.

Ugly Socks: Again, no. This is about as bad as ugly ties.

How about something better?

Tools: Whether your dad is a skilled craftsman or not, tools can be useful around the house. How many times has dad wanted to do a 20 second job like tightening a screw, but spent 20 minutes looking for a screwdriver?

Wallet: A simple nice sturdy leather wallet with areas for cards and cash is always appreciated. Most guys can use a wallet. Tip: Don’t get one of those ultra-new modern wallets with all kinds of straps that seem more like a puzzle than a place to store cash.

A Gift Card: What is your dad’s favorite store? Lowes? Home Depot? Walmart? A gift card lets dad get whatever he wants.

Something Your Make: A handmade gift can be the most heartfelt. These types of gifts are special and precious.

Yard Stuff: Is your dad into landscaping or does he have an outside project planned? Maybe a new plant or bush would make a nice gift. A tool like a rake or a shovel may be a good idea too.

Hobbies: Does your father have a hobby or something he really enjoys doing? If so, maybe you can get something he’ll really be able to use and enjoy.

These are just a few gift ideas. You know your dad better than anyone else, so you may have an even better idea. Steer clear of the ugly ties and the ugly socks and you should do fine.

From all of us at CashCrate, Happy Father’s Day!
