Take a Moment to Stop on Memorial Day
Monday, May 30th is Memorial Day. It’s the start of the summer season and a fun filled 3 day weekend! Time to hit the water parks, the beach, maybe take a swim. Friends and families get together for cookouts and perhaps to have a beer or two (assuming they are 21 or older).
Some people take advantage of the extra day off work and go on vacation for the entire week. Traffic is heavier that weekend. So many people on the roads trying to get to their first summer escape. Then there are the parades that block streets and bring traffic to a crawl.
It’s time to stop.
It’s time to stop and think about what Memorial Day is really about. It’s a day to remember those who gave their lives in military service. It’s a day to honor those who fought for our country and for our freedom.
Our freedom to enjoy water parks, the beach, cookouts, and so much more. While you’re fighting traffic to get where you are going, remember those who fought for you. Most of us have a friend or family member who served in the military. Perhaps you’re even traveling with one right now.
At CashCrate, we have many members who are veterans, active military, or part of a military family. We appreciate everything you do.
