Making Money with Mystery Shopping

A mystery shopper is a secret shopper who rates things such as customer service or the quality of a product. The identity of a mystery shopper is typically not known to the establishment/employees being evaluated. Businesses can include retailers, restaurants, hotels, banks and more.

A secret shopper might go to a store and make a normal purchase. They evaluate things like the ease of finding an item, the quality of services rendered, and how long the checkout time takes. Another assignment might involve evaluating a restaurant: The décor, friendliness of the wait staff, and the quality of the meal.

By providing feedback, mystery shoppers help business assess and improve the quality and effectiveness of their products and services. The business makes positive changes and the mystery shopper is paid for their time and effort. It’s a win-win for all parties involved.

Mystery shopping positions are also posted on various work at home forums and other work at home sites. Beware of any opportunities that try and charge you an upfront fee or ask you to use your bank account to process transactions. Legitimate mystery shopping opportunities are always free and will never ask you to send them money.

While CashCrate does not have a mystery shopping program, we do have members who mystery shop and supplement their incomes doing surveys. Both fit well together because both are very flexible. You make money when you want to.
