Valentine’s Day is Sunday, February 14th. Yes, it’s become commercialized. It’s a big day for greeting cards, florists, and candy companies. Getting a card, flowers, or candy from someone you love isn’t a bad thing, is it? Sharing something with someone you care about is always a nice thing. :)
Younger children often give out Valentines to their classmates: Superman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, SpongeBob SquarePants, and an assortment of other characters are exchanged. The kids come home with a collection of valentines to show off to mom and dad.
Even if you don’t buy a thing for your Valentine (husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc.), it can still be a special day. Just holding hands, sharing a kiss, or doing something special can be nice. If you’re single, it might be a good day to meet someone. Go out, have some fun, and see what happens.
How do you spend your Valentine’s Day? Do you and your family have any traditions?
From all of us at CashCrate, we wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day.
