Thanksgiving: You Probably Have a lot to be Thankful for!

Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it, but you probably have a lot to be thankful for. Watch or read the news and you’ll see accidents, tragedies, wars, scandals, etc. Even when you’re having a terrible day, you are probably better off than someone else.

Once in a while, they’ll be some good news and we can be thankful for that. We can also be thankful for many things that we have in our own lives. Are you are attending a Thanksgiving dinner? If so, think about how lucky you are.

Think about the friends and family who will join you, and how fortunate you are to have people in your life who love and care about you. Think about the great meal: the turkey, dressing, potatoes, corn, pies, and other goodies. Think about those who are not as well off as you.

Organizations such as Food Banks, the Salvation Army, and many others help those less fortunate. There may be local food drives in your area. Go shopping and you may hear a kettle ringer. You can donate clothing you no longer wear to good will organizations too. A little can go a long way.

Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks. That’s pretty obvious to say, but sometimes we don’t think about how thankful we could be every day. Even when you’ve had a terrible day at work, school, or somewhere else, think about all the good things you have in your life. When you think of all the good, it can make the bad days seem much less significant.

From all of us as CashCrate, have a thankful Thanksgiving.
