New Year's Eve: Jumping into 2019!Posted in Announcements by CashCrate Dana
As we ring out 2018 and ring in 2019, here are some ideas to celebrate the occasion:
Throw a Party: Instead of going out to celebrate, invite friends and family for your own get together. Have everyone write down their resolutions and mix them all up. Then have people guess whose is whose?
Watch the Ball Drop: Yes, millions of us tune in every year to watch the ball come down in Times Square. It’s not a bad tradition though.
Go Out: Check your local area for New Years Eve happenings. Check with friends too. They may know where the hot parties and events are.
Back to that Party You’re Throwing: Maybe turn it into a slumber party? If you’re serving alcohol, keep people safe and insist they stay over.
Have Kids? If you have young children who won’t make it up until midnight, celebrate New Year’s early. They’ll have fun blowing horns and using noise makers whether it’s 8:00 PM or 12:00 AM.
Community Events: Check your town or city for any activities they are holding. Some areas may have a fireworks display. If you live in a northern climate, dress extra warm and enjoy the show.
Do Nothing: This doesn’t sound like a lot of fun but chilling out on the last night of the year can be nice too. Watch your favorite shows on TV, listen to some music, or even get some extra sleep. With our busy lives, sometimes relaxing like this can be a luxury.
Have other Ideas? Post them below and share the ways you celebrate.
What ever you do to celebrate, jump into 2019 with both feet. It’s going to be a great year!
