Daylight Savings Time: Put a Spring in Your StepPosted in Announcements by CashCrate Dana
Dont forget to set the clocks ahead one hour! Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 8, 2015, officially at 2:00 AM. Many of us just set the clocks ahead an hour when we go to bed. The bad thing is we lose an hour of sleep. The good thing, the days start to seem longer.
Winter days are so short. It gets dark so early. Its cold. Daylight Savings Time extends the daylight in a sense, and sunset is an hour later than it was before. Changing the clocks reminds us that spring is around the corner, thus the old saying Spring Ahead when we advance our clocks.
Winter thaws and warmer days are coming soon. Hibernating animals will awaken after a long winters nap. In the coming weeks crocuses will bloom and trees will start to bud. No more having to shovel the driveway. Its a time to spring ahead to new beginnings.
Is there something new youd like to do this year? Maybe start a New Years resolution that went by the wayside? Get more exercise? Eat better? Spend more time with your family?
