Chill Out with CashCrate on National Ice Cream Day (and month)Posted in Announcements by CashCrate Dana
July is National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday in July is National Ice Cream Day. Ice Cream Day and Month were proposed by Senator Walter Dee Huddleston of Kentucky in 1984. President Ronald Reagan signed it into law that same year.
July is a great month to indulge in this frozen treat because it’s usually pretty hot. There are so many different flavors: the run of the mill like Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate. Then there are the different and more exotic like Cherry Garcia, Wasabi, and even Lobster and Horseradish. There are even Beer and Wine flavored ice creams! I think most of us go for something a little less offbeat though.
Two of my favorites are Banana flavored and Cookie Dough Ice Cream. Another one I love is the regular typical hot fudge sundae with vanilla ice cream, some whipped cream, and nuts. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Do you ever use some of the money you earn at CashCrate to treat yourself?
