After Labor Day SavingsPosted in Announcements by CashCrate Dana
Labor Day is celebrated the first Monday in September. It’s a celebration for workers and many get the day off.
Labor Day weekend and the weeks that follow are also a great time to find things on sale. Keep an eye on home improvement stores like Lowe's, Home Depot, and others. Seasonal items may be marked down at a major discount. One place to check is the gardening department. Perennials (plants that come back year after year) are often on sale. In northern climates especially, the growing season is almost over by September. It’s not too late to put perennials in the ground though.
You may not get much enjoyment out of perennials this year, but next year you’ll have them the whole season long. Often, they are marked down 50% or more after Labor Day weekend. Gardening tools such as shovels, hoes, clippers, and other items may be on sale as well. Grills, mowers, and other big items get marked down too.
Summer fashions are another thing to keep an eye on. By September, stores want to get rid of things like shorts, light t-shirts, beach towels, summer toys, and more. Target, Walmart, and others could have just what you’re looking for at a very nice price.
To save even more, you can shop on CashCrate and get cash back on all your purchases. On our Shopping Page, you’ll find major retailers like Walmart, Macys, Kmart, Lowes, and many more. Just click on the retailer of your choice. Make your online purchases as you normally would, and see cash back added to your CashCrate account in the coming weeks.
Happy post Labor Day Sales everyone. :)
