CashCrate Payment Details

Updated January, 2017

The minimum payout is $20. In order to have a payment sent you must reach at least $20 in earnings.

The current earnings period always ends at 11:59:59 PM EST on the last day of each month.

Earnings for the current month are sent on the 1st or on the 15th of the following month, depending on member status and the payment method selected (see below).

Bronze Member Payment Options

Bronze Members have less than 25 Active Referrals and less than $100 in lifetime earnings.

Dwolla: Payments are sent on the 1st of each month. Dwolla is similar to PayPal. You receive payments electronically and can easily transfer them to a bank account. Dwolla is available to USA members. Note: If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, payments may go out on the next business day.

CheckChecks are generally mailed out between the 15th and 20th of the month. Most USA Bronze Members receive their checks around the 22nd to the 27th or so. International delivery outside of the USA can take up to a week or two longer. Checks are available world wide.

Silver+ Member Payment Options

Silver+ Members have 25 or more Active Referrals and/or more than $100 in lifetime earnings.

Dwolla: Payments are sent on the 1st of each month. Dwolla is similar to PayPal. You receive payments electronically and can easily transfer them to a bank account. Dwolla is available to USA members.

Check: Checks are sent to be printed on the 1st of each month. After the checks are printed, they are mailed to you. Most USA Silver+ Members receive their checks several days after the 1st. International delivery outside of the USA can take up to a week or two longer.

Direct Deposit: Payments are sent on the 1st. It can take a few days for the payment to show up.  Direct Deposit is available to USA Silver+ Members.

PayPal: Payments are sent on the 1st. To receive payments by Paypal you must cash at least one check.

Note: If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, payments may go out on the next business day.

Weekly Payments

Weekly Payments are available for Gold and Elite Members who have 100+ Referrals or $250+ in lifetime earnings. The minimum payout for weekly payments is $100. If you'd like to get paid weekly, just start earning and referring!
Checking the Status of Your Payment

To check the status of your payment, choose , My Earnings near the top right (http://www.cashcrate.com/earnings ) and click the "Payments" Tab.

For members receiving checks:

Look at the Date Sent Column:

-If the word “processing” appears in the Date Sent column, that means your check has not been sent yet.

-A date will appear in the Date Sent column when your check is sent

It can take checks a week or two to arrive after this date for USA members.  International mail will take longer.
Dwolla and PayPal Payment Status

Dwolla and PayPal payments are normally sent on the 1st of each month.  It can take a few weeks for the word “processing” to change to a date after Dwolla and PayPal payments are sent.
Note: If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, payments may go out on the next business day.
Choosing Your Payment Option

- To select your payment option, choose "Your Name", My Account near the top right
( http://www.cashcrate.com/account ).

- Click the Payment Settings Tab.

- Choose the desired payment option.

Common Payment Questions:

My Check has not arrived yet: Checks are mailed out 1 business day after we submit the request. Postal Service delivery times can vary. Please allow at least 2 weeks after your check was sent to be printed for it to arrive.

Minimum Payout: CashCrate’s minimum payout is $20.

Can I make more than $20 or do I need to stop there: $20 is just a minimum so don’t stop there. You can make a lot more and get a much bigger payment.

What if I don't make $20 this month? Will I lose what I earned: If you don’t make the $20 minimum payout, your earnings will roll over into the next month. You never lose what you’ve earned.

My earning disappeared on the last day / first day of the month: This means you have a payment coming. Choose "Your Name", My Earnings near the top right ( http://www.cashcrate.com/earnings ) and click the Payments Tab to see that.

Can I save up and get a bigger payment: Yes. You can set a higher minimum payout if you'd like to save up for a larger payment. Choose "Your Name", My Account near the top right ( http://www.cashcrate.com/account ) and click the Payment Settings Tab.

Are there any fees: CashCrate never charges a payment fee. The member is responsible for any fees that might be charged by PayPal or Dwolla.

What if I don't have a bank account to cash in the check, what can I do then?

From CashCrate: Some of our members will use their first check to open a new bank account. Some endorse (sign) the back of the check and ask a family member or friend to cash it for them. Some members will also cash their checks at places like Walmart, but Walmart does charge a small fee.

From CashCrate: Some of our members cash their checks at different places (like Walmart if one is in your area). Members can also ask a family member with a bank account to deposit/cash their check for them. Some members also open a new bank account with their first CashCrate payment.

I want to know how can I get my money sent directly to my bank account. I am new here today.

From CashCrate: CashCrate can pay you by check, and you can deposit that check into your bank account. Direct Deposit becomes available to USA members at the Silver Level. You can reach silver level by earning a total of $500 or by getting a total of 50 active referrals ( http://blog.cashcrate.com/announcements/silver-status-for-500-earners-this-means-even-more-money-for-you/ ).

What is dwolla? Will i need to have a dwolla accouny to get a check at my home?

From CashCrate: Dwolla and Checks are two separate payment methods. You don't need Dwolla to get a check. We just need your name and address on your CashCrate account so we know who and where to send the check to. :)

    E.g: "Apartment: #15"

Will that read my address so it's understandable for my check to be deliver there?
