Another Great Way to Get Referrals: Flyer, Fliers, Pamphlets!

What ever you call them, a Flyer or a Pamphlet is a great way to get referrals. Most people think of getting referrals online, but this is an offline method that works.

You can post fliers on bulletin boards in Laundromats, Grocery Stores, and other locations that have posting places for public use. Some members have a lot of success posting flyers on bulletin boards at local colleges. College students always seem to be looking for part time jobs or additional income.

Kaylah from Virginia created a very nice flyer and shares hers below. Notice the tear off tabs and the redirect link that goes to her CashCrate referral link. She also used her unique QR code.

Creating tear off tabs is a smart idea. This turns your flyer into a multiple use flyer. Several people can tear off a tab with your link on it. You’re reaching more people with less paper and less effort. It also helps to keep your ink/printing costs down.

In this case, a link redirect of some sort is also smart. Your CashCrate referral link consists of:

http://www.cashcrate.com/#######

Where ####### is your unique referral number. If you put your direct referral link on the tear off tab, some people are not going to type in the numbers. They will just type in http://www.cashcrate.com

Some members also create their own CashCrate site or blog. They put their referral link and their referral banners (found in the Promotion Center) on their sites and blogs. When they create a flier or a pamphlet, they will put http://www.(link to my blog or site) on the tear off tabs. The person who takes a tab goes to their website or blog, clicks on their CashCrate referral link or banner, and signs up as their referral.

By using both online and offline referring methods, you’ll be able to get more referrals. As your referrals complete offers and surveys, you make more money. You also help others make extra money.

Just thought I'd say, I've never heard of tinyurl stealing sign-ups, I've read through their Terms of Use and there is nothing to suggest this. I usually use bit.ly to shorten links though because they make your URLs even shorter; you should try them if you don't want to use tinyurl.

You should read the small print regarding tinyurl. They are taking some of your Cash Crate sign ups when you use their link shortening service. That's why I won't use them.

From CashCrate: If that's the case, then using another type of redirect or domain forwarding would be a better option. As long as the person's referral link comes through to us though, that person gets the referral.

This is really awesome! Even though I am a new member, I think I will go ahead and try this! The sooner the better! :) And I also use Photoshop a lot so this would be really fun and easy for me to make! Thank you for sharing! :D

Great advice! Especially about the link redirect--you have a much better chance of getting the referral this way :-)

I really like that link redirect idea! Instead of typing in cryptic Greek to get to your referral page, the people who see the flyer can type in something simple. Furthermore, as the author mentioned, it guarantees that the flyer-reader reaches not just CashCrate, but your referral page.
